Now let's just just to the chase after that gray area, here's some black and white:
- I do not believe that Torah was written by the hand of God. Inspired by God, sure, but I've always thought that was kind of a cop out anyway.
- I do believe in a God that is all encompassing, all powerful, all knowing, and one at once.
- Yet, if I do not believe Torah is God's own work, why would I believe in the God of Torah, a perception of divinity created by human beings?
- I should not is the simple conclusion.
Still though, can't help but think that in another time I would be killed for idolatry. Thank the Lord for Post-Modernism.
